Sam Bertizlain
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Sam Bertizlian foresaw the future of mobile technology and wanted to help foster innovation in the mobile arena, hence he co- founded Marvel Mobi. He is a true visionary and thought leader in the realm of mobile technology. His goal is to make Marvel Mobi the global leader in mobile services and mobile applications. His background uniquely prepares him to lead and oversee the company's collective efforts toward mobile technological solutions that focus on the global mobile user.

With a background as a business advisor, Sam's main areas of focus have been consulting, IT, marketing, business development, financial planning and finance. Prior to founding Marvel Mobi, he was a business financial advisor, manager and consultant with American Express Global Advisors Group for over fifteen years.

Additionally, he has held executive, management and engineering positions with IT firms, Future Automation Technologies Unlimited Int'l, Groo & Associates and Alpine Engineering. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University as well as a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.

Sam is a member of the American Entrepreneurs Council of Advisors, and serves on various boards of Science and Technology firms. Also he has served on important economic development missions representing U.S. Firms and has played key roles in securing partnership ventures in international markets.

Gaurav has always had a passion for technology beginning in childhood with programming on the Commodore 64/128 and Apple IIe computers. He brings over 25 years of combined computer and Internet experience to Marvel Mobi. Gaurav has implemented his expertise in Search Engine Optimization and Marketing (SEOM - search engine optimization and search engine marketing), internet marketing, emarketing, advertising, web usability, web design and web development on several successful Marvel Mobi and independent projects.

Additionally, he was responsible for expanding and diversifying Marvel Mobi's business model and strategy by creating comprehensive mobile services, mobile consulting, mobile advertising platforms, mobile app development and mobile web development services. He manages business development, strategic development of products and services, branding, marketing, advertising, internet and mobile strategies for Marvel Mobi.

He works closely with Sam Bertizlian in overseeing the strategic direction of the company. Furthermore, he oversees Mobile Search Engine Optimization and Marketing (MobileSEOM or MSEOM), mobile web development, including mobile services and mobile consulting strategies for the company. Gaurav has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biology and a Master's Degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida. He also holds a Master's Degree in Management from Troy State University.

Prior to co-founding Marvel Mobi, he excelled as a business development manager, community manager of blogging websites, internet marketing consultant, SEOM consultant and financial advisor. He has worked with American Express Financial Advisors, Internet Technology firms and has owned his own successful Internet and web development services company. Gaurav's vision is to make Marvel Mobi's name synonymous with mobile applications, mobile services and mobile web development.

Derek Kelly
Vice President, Software Development and Implementation

Derek Kelley brings over 10 years of software development, implementation and management experience to the company. As an IT data processing professional and consultant, he has contributed to departmental and enterprise level information systems software development efforts while continuing to meet new system and management challenges.

Prior to joining Marvel Mobi, Derek had a rewarding career encompassing all levels of software development, including design, coding, implementation, support and team management, specializing primarily in the financial industry information systems. As a senior programmer he played a key role in the design, development and implementation of software for RG Crown Bank and the Fifth Third Bank in the U.S.

Derek holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Marist College, New York and continues his focus on cutting edge technologies, including mobile tech. His passion for mobile technology led him to develop mobile applications and mobile games for the mobile market. Derek’s vast and diverse experience ranges from working with the largest mainframes and large-scale array processors to software development for the PC, Internet and mobile environments.
